House For Sale

Well, we have decided to move to New Mexico at the end of September. So we got our home listed and I thought I should take a few house pictures to remember our first home.

One of my favorite things about our house is the red front door. I just love it!

When I first painted our kitchen it seemed very minty. But it has grown on me now and I really like the color of it now.
This is the living room. One of Reid's projects this year was making those two bookshelves.
I didn't think we would be so sad to leave our house, but we've really enjoyed working on it this past year and turning it into our home.

New Mexico

Reid had a job interview this week out in Los Alamos. So Brooke and I went with him to check out the area. We loved being by the mountains again. I think the mountains are one of the things we've missed the most since being out on the East coast. This is a picture of the scenery on the drve to Santa Fe. It is a beautiful drive. This is the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assissi in Santa Fe. I believe it is the oldest church in the U.S.

This is Brooke and I outside the cathedral.

This is amuseum in Santa Fe. It had been a long time since I'd been to Santa Fe and I just loved all the South Western architecture out there.

Our Garden

Until now we've always been moving around from apartment to apartment so this is the first year we've been able to have a garden since we got married. It has kind of been Reid's baby. He has enjoyed planting everything and watching it grow. And we have all enjoyed eating it.
This is one of the biggest tomatoes we've gotten so far. It was very meaty and extremely delicious. It has been amazing how many tomatoes we are getting. It is getting hard to keep up with them all, I guess I need to learn how to can.

Luckily, Brooke loves tomatoes and will just bite into it and eat a whole one if we let her. She also loves tomatoe sandwiches which have become a staple in our house lately.

Good Morning!

How could you be cranky waking up to this face in the morning?
