Happy Halloween

Brooke was so excited to be a Purple Flower Fairy Princess (that is what she called herself) this year, she loved talking about her wings and tutu. We had so much fun trick or treating and going to our church party. Brooke was so excited for all the candy (I wonder where she gets her sweet tooth from?) and loved showing off her costume!

Fabulous Fall

We've been super busy this month doing lots of fun fall stuff. We had fun carving pumpkins and eating caramel apples. Brooke decided she wanted us to carve the pumpkin as a princessa, so we tried Cinderella. We also had a little halloween party and I got to try and make some fun halloween food. My favorite thing that I made were the orange jell-o jack-o-lanterns, I didn't get a great picture but I promise they were SUPER cute. Happy Fall!

My Favorite Time

I love mornings. Brooke will usually come get into bed with us for a while and snuggle. It really is one of my favorite parts of the day. I love snuggling with her and just talking to her. What a special time!

Asheville

We took a little mini vacation up to the mountains in North Carolina last week. We had such a great time. We got to go on some hikes and enjoy the beautiful leaves, we were just in time for the leaves changing in the Smokies.



Reid took a golf lesson and went golfing and we all went putt putt golfing. Brooke had so much fun, she would take her ball and put it right next to the whole and then knock it in, she didn't seem to get why we started so far away as it was definitely easier her way.
We also went to a super cool children's museum that Brooke just loved.


The highlight of the trip was going to Biltmore, the largest home in America the inside of it covers over 9 acres! It was quite the house and the grounds are beautiful.


There was also a really nice little farm with lots of animals. Brooke loved the farm and couldn't leave the poor goat alone.



I just love fall and so I was so excited to go on a little fall trip and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and cool fall weather. We had so much fun!

Painting Fun

Reid made this step stool for Brooke to use in the bathroom and we decided to let Brooke help paint it. It was actually a really fun family project and while it did look cuter in middle of the paint project, we were having fun so we just kept going and Brooke just loves it! We also got a step stool that we can pull out and use in the kitchen, and I feel like I have to baby proof everything all over again. I'm so used to just putting things I don't want her to get up high and now between stools and chairs that she will drag as far as she needs she can get into everything. Ahh where do I put things now!
